Help, Inc. has learned that individuals and
communities affected by adverse circumstances must be the agents of
their own transformation for change to endure.
It's only when
individuals and communities set their own agendas, raise their own
resources and implement programs themselves, that their first
successes result in the renewed hope, confidence and skills to
continue development.
Help, Inc.’s mission
is to develop systemic approaches to enhance family economic
security, encourage individual achievement and promote empowerment
of self-sufficiency.
Help, Inc. accomplishes
its goals through responsive service delivery, people-centered
community development and the creation of knowledge for social
change.
Mission Driven
Initiatives
The agency's programs serve as a
"laboratory" for the development of cutting-edge
social methodologies, helping to guide the evolution of both social
policy and service delivery mechanisms worldwide.
Help, Inc. currently promotes four main initiatives to
enable self-sufficiency and build a caring community of humanity
worldwide. Each initiative provides a distinct and adaptable social
enterprise methodology, utilizing existing resources in new ways.
The focus of each initiative is to promote social systemic change on
a regional, national and global scale.
This is accomplished
primarily through the agency's Social Knowledge Institute. These
initiatives include the following:
•
Education & Knowledge Transfer
•
Service-Enriched Housing • Community-Based Services
Coordination •
Economic Development |
